Last week I published a blog titled Post Processing; Photography is Art https://dannylbaker720.blogspot.com/2019/10/post-processing-photography-is-art.html This is a supplement to the post processing portion of the blog. I use Adobe Creative Cloud. I'm not recommending one program over another, but this is what I'm familiar with. Often times while out capturing photographs, once we return to the studio, or home office and begin the post processing portion, we notice little flaws that may detract from the overall appearance of the photograph. Below is a before and after to illustrate my point.
Before |
After |
On the lower left portion of the before photograph, there is a small box type object. Although not a show stopper it's still a blemish that I don't like. There are two methods to remove this object, 1) I can crop the photograph, or, 2) I can use the Editing Tool. On the Menu Bar there is a Lasso Tool, draw around the object you would like to remove, click on Edit scroll down to Fill, click and OK. Like magic it's gone. It really is that simple.
This is not a tutorial but it will guide you through the process. It's more about showing ways to enhance your photographs. This tool has its' limitation just as other features, so it's more about correcting minor blemishes. No matter which program you use, learn its' features, so you can improve and add to your photography skills. "I Learned From That."
